Allen Waddell, producer

Allen Waddell has 5 years of experience in award-winning regional sports broadcasting ranging from radio to television.  He is the host of Inside Southeastern Football and Inside Southeastern Baseball that air on Cox Sports Television. In radio, Waddell has been a part of the Kajun 107.1 high school game of the week for the last four seasons, working as play-by-play announcer and color analyst. Waddell also hosts the Mike Lucas Coach’s Show on the Southeastern Sports Radio Network.  While in college, he and Chris Coleman were national finalists in the “best college play-by-play broadcast” category at the College Broadcast Inc. Awards in Washington , D.C.   Waddell graduated in 2007 from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in Mass Communication and Journalism and is currently working on his master’s degree in Organizational Communication.

 

Chris Guagliardo, camera, video editing, and graphics

Chris Guagliardo has 8 years in video production, ranging from independent filmmaking to sports production.  Guagliardo is co-owner of Somnium Studios, a local production company, through which he has produced the award-winning short film, The Firefly Club.  Guagliardo also works in the local television industry, producing news journal series, musical and dramatic arts programming, as well as awarding-winning college basketball, baseball, and football broadcasts.  He has worked with local high schools as well, shooting baseball and football for Hammond High and Ponchatoula High. Guagliardo will graduate in 2009 with a degree in political science from Southeastern Louisiana University .

Chris Coleman, commentator

Chris Coleman has been covering Florida Parish athletics for over a decade.   From his high school tenure to the present, Coleman has reported for the Livingston Parish News, the local newspaper. For the last 3 years, he has provided play-by-play commentary for television and radio.  Additionally, Coleman has hosted a number of award-winning sports programs, for which he wrote, edited, and produced.  Coleman is the co-host along with Robbie Rhodes of a local radio sports show broadcasted throughout St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Livingston Parishes.  In 2007, he and Allen Waddell were national finalists in the “best college play-by-play broadcast” category at the College Broadcast Inc. Awards in Washington , D.C.   Coleman graduates in 2008 with a Mass Communication degree from Southeastern Louisiana University .

Robbie Rhodes, commentator

Robbie Rhodes has 3 years experience in sports broadcasting.  He has served as a sideline reporter and color commentator for football and baseball respectively for the Southeastern Sports Radio Network.  Rhodes is the co-host along with Chris Coleman of a local sports show broadcasted throughout St. Tammany, Tangipahoa, and Livingston Parishes.  Rhodes graduates in 2008 with a degree in Mass Communications from Southeastern Louisiana University .
